Frank J. Ricci, 86 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Thursday September 14, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born May 12, 1931 in Russellton to the late Giuseppe and Casarina (Bruno) Ricci. Frank grew up and has lived Russellton all of his life. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked over 30 years for Blawnox Steel, in Blawnox. He was a member of Transfiguration R. C. Church, Russellton and a Life Member of the Central Beagle Club. He was known as Mr. Fix-it to the family as he could build or fix anything. He made beautiful furniture and could make most anything just looking at a picture. He enjoyed his daily trips to Kings and Good Will, also hunting, fishing, carpenter work and especially spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter Angie Ricci of Russellton, five grand-daughters, five great-grandchildren and his sister who took very good care of him Elizabeth M. Razdik.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Judith Kay (Riddle) Ricci, his daughters Tina Ricci and Dana M. Ricci and his sisters Viola A. Thompson and Theresa Rakoski.
Friends and family will be received Sunday from 4-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 am, in Transfiguration R.C. Church, with the Rev. James P. Holland, officiating.
