G.W. “Indian” Lovato, 68 of West Deer Township, died May 18, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born May 28, 1948 in Washington D.C. to the late Donald and Mary (Groves) Lovato. Indian could be seen each week at the Wildwood Flea Market selling his jewelry with his Mom. He was a member of the Three Rivers Indian Council in Dorseyville. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and especially spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include his daughters Nina M. Schuller at home and Marsha B. Lovato of Leechburg, his son Donald Lovato of Brentwood and his grandchildren Brandy A. Schuller, Alexandra M. Schuller, Chyann L. Berk, Aiden W. Berk and Shelby C. Berk, London Lovato and his great-granddaughter Rylee Lovato.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his Wife Joan A. (Kalchthaler) Lovato, his grandson Jessie James J. Schuller, his sister Donna Sanford and his Grandmother Georgia Groves.
At Indian’s request there was a private burial. A public memorial service is planned for Saturday July 22, 2017, 2 PM at the West Deer VFD #1, 1520 Saxonburg Blvd. Taretnum, PA 15084 in West Deer Township.
