George T. Trocki, Sr.

George T. Trocki, Sr. 90 of Superior, West Deer Township passed peacefully Friday March 24, 2017 surrounded by his family. George was born January 26, 1927 in Indianola to the late Fred and Julia (Mahalky) Trocki. He served our country in the Army during WWII in the South Pacific. He was a coal miner for Republic Steel Coal Company for over 30 years, working in the Newfield and Indianola mines. After retirement he proudly worked at the family business, Trocki Service for twenty years. He loved deer hunting, trout fishing, playing euchre and spending time with his family.

He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Anna (Rhyshek) Trocki, survived by daughters Christine (Norbert) Straznick of West Deer and Deborah (Thomas) Trulik of Tarentum, sons Kim (Donna) Trocki, George T. Trocki, Jr., Mark (Deborah) Trocki and Robin (Mary Jane) Trocki all of West Deer, brother Samuel Trocki of West Deer, sisters Irene Myers and Patricia Trocki both of Indianola, Margaret Yeloushan of Cheswick and Janice Roberts of Phoenix, AZ. George is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Elaine Trocki and his brothers Michael and Joseph Trocki.
