Harry W. Sell

Harry W. Sell, 88 of West Deer Township, passed away suddenly August 28, 2017 from long fight from heart disease and diabetes. He was born May 19, 1929 in Natrona Heights to the late Clarence and Carrie (Anthony) Sell, where he grew up working in his Father’s welding shop. Harry was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 333, working at Allegheny Ludlum, PPG and several Private contractors. Harry was a Master Carpenter. He has lived in West Deer for the past sixty-four years. He was a loving parent, grandparent and beloved husband of sixty-four years to his deceased wife Dorothy M. (Sankovich) Sell who passed away July 17, 2017. Harry cherished his family and friends, he enjoyed welding, engineering things, camping, fishing, boating but especially loved spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his three daughters Nancy J. Sell of Saxonburg, Sherri L. Sell of West Deer and Lisa Shirley of DelRay Beach, Fla., grandchildren Brian Borsuk, Josh Borsuk both of Curtisville and Jessica and Jennifer Shirley of Fla., her great-grandchildren Cody Hazlett and Mason Borsuk, two sisters Virginia Whitmire and Ellen Newell both of Fla.

Besides her parents and his wife he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Sell.

Family invites relatives and friends to Harry’s funeral mass on Thursday at 10 am in Transfiguration R.C. Church, Russellton with the Rev. James P. Holland, officiating.
