Helen (Mazur) Moskala, 96 of Hendersonville, Tenn., formerly of Bairdford, West Deer Township, died January 29, 2017. She was born July 28, 1920 in Mammoth to the late Joseph and Anna (Vida) Mazur. Helen lived in Bairdford from 1941 until she moved to Tenn. to be near her daughter in 1990. A member of the Our Lady of the Lake R.C. Church, Hendersonville and a former member St. Victor RC Church, Bairdford. She worked as a housekeeper for over 35 years working for the owners of the D.L. Clark Candy Company and the President of Allegheny Ludlum Steel. She enjoyed growing flowers, playing bingo, traveling and especially spending time with her family in Tenn.
Survivors include his daughter Anna (John) Evans of Hendersonville, five grandsons and five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Boleslaw Moskala, her son Stanley Moskala, her grandson Michael Evans four sisters, Anna Urban, Nellie Landa, Alice Whitecomb and Rose Kubasky and her brother John Mazur.
Family invites family and friends to a funeral mass on Wednesday 10 am in St. Victor R.C. Parish, 527 Bairdford Road, Bairdford with the Rev. Charles Speicher officiating. She will be privately laid to rest next to her loving husband in Transfiguration R.C. Church Cemetery, Russellton.
