Priscilla Grden

Priscilla (Simonko) Grden, 91 of Bairdford, West Deer Township, died Saturday December 16, 2017 with her daughter by her side. She was born November 7, 1926 in Bairdford to the late Paul and Anna (Panceroff) Simonko. Priscilla grew up and has lived in Bairdford all of her life. She was a 1944 graduate of Etna High School. Priscilla worked as a secretary for the H.J. Heinz Company, Pittsburgh for over 30 years. She was a member of the Bairdford United Methodist Church, Bairdford. Priscilla enjoyed volunteering her time at many places including St. Barnabas in Richland, she also enjoyed going to the gym with her Silver Sneakers Club, playing cards with her card club, gardening and yard work.

Survivors include her daughter Marci A. Grden of West Deer.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Matthew W. Grden.

The family invites friends to a Memorial Service, Saturday January 27, 2018 at 11 AM in the Bairdford United Methodist Church, Bairdford, West Deer Township with the Rev. Jerry Pawloski, officiating, a luncheon will follow.  Priscilla was privately laid to rest next to her husband in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar.
