Robert Leon Lawrence, 74, of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Nov. 22, 2016, at his residence. He was born July 7, 1942, in Russellton to the late John A. and Josephine J. (Shondeck) Lawrence. Bob had lived West Deer most of his life. He was a 1960 graduate of West Deer High School and a 1962 graduate of Penn State College, where he received an associate's degree in engineering and drafting. Bob served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Epic Metals, both in Lakeland, Fla., and Rankin. He enjoyed all Pittsburgh sports and fishing, and his family was his No. 1.
Survivors include his brothers, James R. Lawrence, of Russellton, and Eugene (Evelyn) Lawrence, of Natrona Heights; niece, Crystal Lawrence; and nephews, Jeff Lawrence, of Maryland, and David Lawrence, of Bairdford. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John A. Lawrence Jr.; his sister, Connie Lawrence; and his niece, Elizabeth Lawrence.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where a blessing service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
