Stanley F. Himelinski, Sr., 82 of Cherry Valley, Clinton Township died Friday September 1, 2017. He was born October 10, 1934 in New Kensington to the late John A. and Agnes (Budz) Himelinski. Stush grew up in Springdale and graduated from Springdale High School in 1952. He served his country as a Corporal in the US Marines during the Korean War. Stush worked for SCI Greensburg as a corrections officer for over 10 years. A member of Transfiguration R.C. Church, Russellton, West Deer, he also was a member of the West Deer American Legion and the Marine Corp League, Springdale. He enjoyed classic cars, watching movies and especially spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of six years Andrea J. (Galiardi) Himelinski, sons John S. (Nadine) Himelinski of Cherry Valley and Stanley F. (Melinda) Himelinski, Jr. of Buffalo Township, his daughter Jada (Brent) Alderson of Butler, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Henrietta (Moretti) Himelinski and his sister Helen Smith.
Family will received friends Monday from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKRELL ROAD, RUSSELLTON, WEST DEER TOWNSHIP, Funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday September 5, 2017 10 am in Transfiguration R.C. Church, Russellton with the Rev. James P. Holland, officiating. He will be privately laid to rest next to his first wife in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
