Eileen M. Haas

Eileen M. (McNulty) Haas, 72, of West Deer Township passed peacefully on Wednesday March 4, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit, Cabot. She was born February 27, 1948 in Pittsburgh to the late Michael and Bridgett (Connley) McNulty. Eileen has lived in West Deer for the past 28 years. She served her country in the US Navy for 3 years as a Corpsman. Eileen was a member of St. Victor R.C. Church and a former member of the St. Victor Women’s Guild. She was a dedicated Mother and advocate for her daughter Melissa, who is deaf. She could be seen on Sundays, signing to her daughter during Mass. Eileen enjoyed cooking, reading, quilting and caring for her family especially Melissa.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Jerry A. Haas, her daughter Melissa at home her son Stephen A. (Holly Walters) Haas of Carlisle, her granddaughter Courtney Walter; sisters Mary Terese (Steven) Moughalian of Plano, TX and Peggy Rozanski of Mt. Washington and her brother William McNulty of Pittsburgh.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Fr. James McNulty and Michael McNulty.

Friends received Sunday from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. where parting prayers will be conducted on Monday at 9:30 am followed by a catholic funeral mass in St. Victor R.C. Church, Bairdford, West Deer Township, with the Rev. James P. Holland, officiating.  She will be laid to rest in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Township.
