Betty A. Bohatch, 87 of Curtisville, West Deer Township, died Saturday November 3, 2018 with family by her side. She was born in Curtisville on February 26, 1931 to the late Michael and Anna (Marusch) Bohatch, where she lived all of her life. She was a 1949 graduate of West Deer High School and a lifetime member of Transfiguration R. C. Church, Russellton. Betty worked as a receptionist for the UMWA Health and Retirement Fund in New Kensington for over 30 years, then as a purchasing agent for Woodline Products in Frazier Township for 14 years before she retired. Betty enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sister Dorothy J. (Ralph) Nypaver of Indiana Township and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Stephen “Chip” Bohatch, Joseph Bohatch, Mike Pazak, John Pazak, Andrew Bohatch and George B. Bohatch and her sister Mary Charney.
Friends received Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. where parting prayers will be conducted Wednesday 9:30 AM, with a funeral mass following in Transfiguration R.C. Church, Russellton with the Rev. James P. Holland, officiating, She will be laid to rest with her family in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazier.
