Catherine "Kitty" T. Fisher

Catherine T. “Kitty” (Regan) Fisher, 84 formerly of West Deer Township, died Saturday December 16, 2017 with her children by her side. She was born November 30, 1933 in Pittsburgh to the late John J. and Catherine T. (Langan) Regan. Kitty lived in West Deer for over 54 years. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Lawrence High School, Pittsburgh. Kitty worked as a secretary for Energy Valve Co., Export for 18 years, then as a secretary for Parks Moving & Storage in Warrendale, then as a secretary for Shadyside Academy, retiring in 2004. A member of St. Victor R.C. Church, Bairdford, West Deer where she taught CCD for over 45 years, also she was a member of the former Christian Mothers and the church Y&R Group. She enjoyed playing golf with her family and card parties.

Survivors include her children Kathleen (Timothy) Lipke of Monroeviille, Thomas F. (Judy) Fisher of Harmony, Robert C. (Michelle) Fisher of Valencia and Judith (Donald) Schurer of Butler, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, her brothers Jack Regan of VA and William Regan of Tenn.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bronislaus J. “Brownie” Fisher, her son Daniel J. Fisher and her sister Josephine Rubenowski.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer where parting prayers will be conducted Thursday 9:30 AM with the funeral mass following in St. Victor R.C. Church, Bairdford, West Deer, with the Rev. Charles Speicher, officiating. She will be privately laid to rest with her husband and son in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland.
