Jack Hart

Jack Hart, 83, formerly of Indiana Twp. died Friday January 12, 2018 at the Sara Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle, where he had been staying the previous 2 years. He was born August 22, 1934 in Brownsville to the late John H. and Dolores A. (Bryan) Hart. Jack had lived in Indiana Township for over 57 years. He worked at Kroger’s in Hampton as the Head Produce Clerk for over 35 years. He is a member of St. Victors Roman Catholic Church, Bairdford, the PA Fish Commission – as a waterways Patrolman and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Jack was an avid hunter, fisherman, an ardent fan of the Steelers and Notre Dame Football.

Survivors include his four children Debby (Rich) Glaviano of Camp Hill, John (Diane) Hart of Pittsburgh, Suzy (Tim) Newcamp of Quarryville, and Jim (Melissa) Hart of Linesville, 12 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren, his brother Jim E. (Muff) Hart of Trafford and his sister Jane Sheehan of Brownsville.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Pet (Goeller) Hart in 2014

Family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp., where parting prayers will be conducted at 9 AM Tuesday followed by Catholic Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Victor R.C. Church, Bairdford, West Deer with Rev. Charles Speicher officiating, burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery Brownsville.
