Karen L. Polanosky-Meinert, 58 of Curtisville, West Deer Township died Sunday March 11, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit, Jefferson Township. She was born November 8, 1959 in Pittsburgh to the late William D. and Ruth E. (Marshall) Polanosky. Karen grew up in Hampton Township graduating from Hampton High School in 1977. She has lived in West Deer for over 30 years. She worked for the Owl’s Club in Russellton as the Club Stewart for over 15 years, recently has worked as a letter carrier for the Gibsonia and Allison Park Post Office. She was a member of the American Legion, West Deer and the Culmerville Sportsman Club, West Deer. She enjoyed playing pool and going to the casino playing her slot machines.
Survivors include her siblings James W. (Irma) Polanosky of Windsor, VA, Sandee M. (Robert) Ward of Hampton, Dale W. (Carol) Polanosky of Hampton, Diane R. Nowakowski of Amissville, VA and Daniel S. Polanosky of Spotsylvania, VA, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Gail M. Polanosky.
