Lois J. (Milka) Hein, 84 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Sunday October 7, 2018 at UPMC – St. Margarets, with her family by her side. She was born April 14, 1934 in Sharpsburg to the late Stephen and Stella (Wojtalewicz) Milka. She grew up in the Sharpsburg area. Lois has lived in Russellton the past 5 years, prior to that 9 years in Soddy Daisy, TN, though lived in the Pittsburgh area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Victor R.C. Church, Bairdford. She enjoyed watching movies though especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons Timothy (Colleen Gerhard-Hein) Hein, Sr. of Springdale and Jeffrey R. Hein of Russellton, grandchildren, Lea, Stephanie, Janelle, Amanda (Dan), Samantha (Frank) and Tim, great-grandchildren, Autumn, Mike, Franky, Ariana, Landon and Nico, sisters Valerie Ippolito of Russellton and Patricia Mikita of Pittsburgh.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph F. Hein January 25, 2014 and her sisters Dorothy Frederick-McClain, Helen Michalowski, Mary Fischer, Joanne Jendrasak, Martha Graczyk and Regina Perry and her brother, Ben Milka,
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where parting prayers will be conducted Thursday 9:30 am with a Funeral Mass following in St. Victor R. C. Church, Bairdford, West Deer Township, with the Rev. Charles Speicher, officiating. She will be privately laid to rest with her husband in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sharpshill.
