Melissa J. (Kuslock) Laczek, 86 of Clinton Township died Friday December 7, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. She was born January 23, 1932 in Harmar Township to the late John and Elizabeth (Vetterly) Kuslock, where she grew up, graduating from Springdale High School in 1949. Shortly after she married, she moved to Clinton Township where she has lived for over 64 years. She was a member of Transfiguration R. C. Church, Russellton. Melissa worked for Duco Ceramics, Saxonburg over 10 years working as a press operator. She enjoyed shopping and caring for her cats.
Survivors include her daughters LuAnn (David) Parkhill of Sarver, Kathy (Peter) Dent of Charlotte, NC and Kimberly Laczek of Harwick; her grandson Alex Parkhill of Fairmont, WV; sisters Joan Mallough of Springdale, Margaret Kuslock of Harmar Township and Elizabeth Shurina of Curtisville and her brother John Kuslock of New Kensington.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John L. Laczek and her sisters Dorothy Walmsly, Maggie Shuey and Francis Chabel.
Friends received Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. where parting prayers will be conducted Tuesday 11:30 AM, with a funeral mass following in Transfiguration R.C. Church, Russellton with the Rev. Thomas Wilson, officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
