Michael N. Koski

Michael N. Koski, 49 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Thursday October, 18, 2018, at UPMC-Shadyside, with his family by his side. He was born February 8, 1969 in Grove City to the late Charles E. and Nancy M. (Neal) Koski. Mike worked for Kutchko Nursery as a landscaper for 20 years until he was injured during a fire call. Mike was a former member of West Deer VFC #3 and was a former member of Indianola VFD. He enjoyed camping and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years Sandy (Ross) Koski, his daughter Sara Jean Marie Koski and his son Tyler J. Koski both at home, his brothers Jim B. Maines of Phoenix, AZ, Bob J. Maines of Moscow, PA, Kevin, Donald and Jeff Koski all of Calif, his nephew Noah Wright and niece Dani Baker.

Family will receive friends for visitation, Friday from 6 PM until the time of the service at 7:30 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer. Concluding at 8 PM, Dorseyville VFD will honor Mike with the Final Call Ceremony. On Saturday the family invites all to a celebration of Mike Life at Laughlin’s Pub, 2237 Saxonburg Blvd., Cheswick, West Deer Township beginning at 12 pm.
