Norbert K. Miller, 76 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Thursday November 1, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born August 5, 1942 in Pittsburgh to the late Norbert J. and Dorothy E. (Beran) Miller. Norb grew up and has lived in West Deer since 1949. He was a 1961 graduate of West Deer High School. After graduation he served his country during the Viet Nam Era in the US Air Force achieving a rank of Airman 2nd Class. Norb served in Japan and Germany. He was a member of the Owl’s Club, Russellton and the Slovak Club, Creighton. He worked for over 22 years as a Life Insurance Agent working for Baltimore Life. He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards, playing pool, though his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Sandra E. (Downing) Miller his children Brian (Tonya) Miller of West Deer and Melissa E. (Brian) Courtney of Shaler, his grandchildren Aryn, Austin, Chelsea, Abigale, Addison and Aiden, his siblings James D. Miller of Indiana Township and Linda A. Zaccaro of Calif.
Friends received Monday from 2 PM to 8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. funeral services will held Tuesday 10 AM with the Rev.
