Raymond E. Conway, 66 of West Deer Township died Monday January 6, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Ray was born April 29, 1953 in Natrona Heights to the late Raymond E. Conway and Ellen M. (Sell) Newill of Dade City, Fl. He served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Viet Nam War. Ray worked as a mechanic for several gas stations over the years. Ramey as he was known by many has the following passions in life gardening, fishing, camping, love for dogs and following the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was an avid pool player.
Besides his mother he is survived by his brother William (Teresa Cox) Conway of Groton, NY and his sister Sandie Hall of Middlesex Township, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaved his faithful friend, his dog Tater.
At the family’s request all viewing, visitation and burial were private. A celebration of Ramey’s life will be held at a later date, which will be announced.
