Richard R. Truszkowski

Richard R. Truszkowski, 83 of West Deer Township, died Monday October 2, 2017. He was born July 19, 1934 in Pittsburgh to the late Felix S. and Mary (Delost) Truszkowski. He served his country in the US Army. Richard worked for Kroger’s Grocery Store for over thirty years and was the store manager in Hampton. He was a member of St. Victor Parish, Bairdford where he served as an usher. Richard enjoyed wood work, gardening and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Irene D. (Kasprowski) Truszkowski, his daughters Renee M. (Brian) Henzel of Jefferson Township and Michelle A. Eighme and her husband Peter Hurd of Sedrowhooley, WA and his granddaughter Amber M. Henzel and her fiancé Jared Czech of Jefferson Township.

Family will receive friends Friday from 10 AM until the time of the parting prayers at 11 AM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. Catholic Funeral Mass will follow in St. Victor Parish, Bairdford, with the Rev. Charles Speicher, officiating. Private burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Butler.
