Timothy “Skip” Chessey, 79 of Wilmerding, passed away surrounded by those he loved on February 9, 2018. He was born August 29, 1938 in Pittsburgh to the late Walter and Blanche L. (McCoy) Chessey. Skip has lived in the Monroeville Wilmerding area most of his life. He served his country in the US Airforce during peacetime. Skip worked for many years delivering flowers for local flower shops. Enjoyed glass etching and all type of crafts, though his family was his greatest love.
Survivors include his sons Keith F. (Donna) Chessey of Media, OH, Timothy (Brenda) Chessey, II of Tarentum and Shane M. (Maribeth) Chessey of Plum and his adoring daughters Shalako J. Chessey of North Versailles and Allyson C. “Ally” Chessey of Vandergrift, his grandchildren Michael, Harley, Jessica, Isabella, Matthew, Evan & the late Colby and his sisters Walda Jean Hill of Bloomfield and Sally “Pinky” Talley of Oklahoma.
Besides his parents and his grandson he was preceded in death by his wife Mona N. (Sutton) Chessey.
