Alda M. Angeloff, 95, of Magill Heights, West Deer Township, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 6, 2023. She was born on Kaufman Road, West Deer Township, to the late Joseph and Jenny Camanini, one of six daughters. She was married to the late Nick Angeloff Sr. Alda graduated from West Deer High School and helped found the former West Deer Woman's Club and former West Deer Library. She was employed by Equitable Life, Gulf Research as an executive secretary, and Robroy Industries and PPG Industries in project planning. She was a longtime member of St. Victor and now Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, a member of the adult and resurrection choirs for 43 years, served as a cantor and Eucharist minister to shut-ins, and was a founding member of St. Victor's Young and Restless Club.
She is survived by her two sons, Nick Angeloff Jr., of West Deer Township, and Kerry Angeloff, of Lexington, S.C.; two grandsons, Nathan Angeloff, of Pittsburgh, and J.P. Murphy, of San Diego, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth (J.P.) Murphy, of San Diego, Calif.; two great-granddaughters, Teagan and Ella Murphy, of San Diego, Calif.; and one great-grandson, Cole Murphy, of San Diego, Calif.
Besides her husband Nick Angeloff Sr., she was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jenny Camanini; sisters, Margaret Costello, Linda Tabacchi, Josephine Hilla, Helen Coiro and Louise Dineff; daughter-in-law, Paulette (Nick) Angeloff; nephew, Tim Coiro; and five brothers-in-law.
Family and friends will be welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where a blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Monday.
