Ann Victain

Ann (Mahnick) Victain, 104 of Middlesex Township, formerly of Bairdford, West Deer Township died Tuesday March 21, 2023 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler. She was born October 7, 1918 in Bentleyville, Washington County to the late Michael and Ann (Grabana) Mahnick. Ann grew up and had lived in Bairdford West Deer Township most of her life. Ann and her husband were active members of the senior center at the former Nike Site location. Ann made friends where ever she went. She was a homemaker who cherished her family and friends, enjoyed cooking and baking and always looked forward to playing bingo at West Deer VFC#3 for many years. She will always be held close in the hearts of those who loved her and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her children Barbara (Carl) Ostrowski of Middlesex Township, Janet (Robert) Fyala of West Deer and George M. (Suzanne) Victain of Harrison Township, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Victain 11-10-1990, her brothers Michael, William and Nick Mahnick and her sisters Mary Kashlak and Rose Nwranski.
