Ann Marie Gaurich

Ann Marie Gaurich, 74 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Tuesday June 3, 2025 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. She was born February 15, 1951 in Natrona Heights to the late John and Mary L. (Hudak) Gaurich. Ann Marie has lived in Russellton all of her life. She was a 1969 graduate of West Deer High School and a 1973 graduate of IUP earning a teaching degree in Home Economics. She began her over 50-year career in retail shortly after graduation, because she was not able to find a teaching position at that time. Ann Marie worked as the store manager for the former Murphy Mart/Ames Store in Harmarville, working there until it closed. Following its closure, she went to work for the Michael’s Store in Butler as the store manager retiring only a few years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer. Ann Marie was a very dedicated hard worker, enjoyed reading, traveling to Disney World and her dogs Nikki and Bailey. Most of all she was dedicated and loving sister.

She is survived by her sister Pamela L. Gaurich, of Russellton and many cousins.

Friends received Sunday from 1:30 pm until the time of the blessing service at 3:30 pm, with the Rev. Fred Cain, officiating in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer. She will be private laid to rest next to her parents in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
