Arlene Leslie

Arlene (Foust) Leslie was born in Apollo, on September 11, 1925 to the late Charles and Annabell (Barger) Foust. She entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday April 16, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side.

An adoring mother and consummate homemaker, Arlene was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She also enjoyed golfing, gardening, playing cards, and watching on TV football, baseball, and golf.  She had an unwavering faith in God and attended the Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, Curtisville.

Arlene was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Merle Leslie. She was also predeceased by her sisters Louise Maletich, Esther Neff and Martha Brown, brothers Charles, Howard and Richard Foust, and granddaughter Ann Fowler.

Arlene is survived by her children William (Marsha) Leslie, Carol (Art) Fowler, Donna (Jim) Podboy, Jeannie (Pete) Dunlap; grandchildren, Sandra Faub, Lesley Fowler Salman, Heather Dunlap, Hilary Chernosky, Erin Moore, William Leslie, Charles Leslie, Angie Caraza, 11 great-grandchildren, her siblings Norma Bartholic and Jack Foust. 

Friends are invited to a memorial service, celebrating Arlene’s life, on Tuesday  May 3, 2022 beginning at 4 PM in the Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, 1839 Saxonburg Blvd, Curtisville, PA. A time of fellowship will follow the formal service, in the church fellowship hall. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, 1839 Saxonburg Blvd., Tarentum, PA 15078.
