Betty J. (Schohn) Patsko

Betty J. (Schohn) Patsko, 95 of West Deer Township, died Friday November 15, 2024 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born April 17, 1929 in Natrona Heights to the late Andrew F. and Elsie (McKrell) Schohn. Betty has lived in West Deer all of her life. She was a 1947 graduate of West Deer High School. Betty was a member of Bull Creek Presbyterian Church, West Deer where she was the church organist for over 50 years. She also was a member of the church Woman’s Missionary Group. Betty worked for Koppers, Pittsburgh as the Fleet Manager for over 30 years. She enjoyed quilting, playing golf, building puzzles, bird watching, playing the piano and spending time with her friends and family. Her grandchildren & great-grandson were her pride and joy.

Survivors include her son John G. (Denise) Patsko of Middlesex and Joni K. Patsko with whom she lived, her 3 grandchildren Ryan J. Patsko of McCandless, Erin L. Patsko of Middlesex Township and Kaylee L. (Zachary) Cunningham of Weatherford, TX and great-grandson Lucas Z. Cunningham.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters E. Phyllis Campbell and Dorothy P. Vogeley.

Family will receive friends Saturday November 30, 2024 from 11 am to the time of the service at 11:30 am in the Bull Creek Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Daniel Ekas, officiating. Following the service, she will be buried in Bull Creek Cemetery, West Deer Township. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
