Blanche C. (Schultz) Veltri, 96 of Arnold, formerly of West Deer Township, died Sunday October 31, 2021 at Concordia at Ridgewood in Plum. She was born September 13, 1925 in Russellton to the late Walter and Mary (Budzan) Schultz. Blanche grew up in West Deer graduating from West Deer High School in 1945. Blanche worked as an operator for the former North Pittsburgh Telephone Company and then as a box maker for Glenshaw Glass Company. She enjoyed playing games, especially playing cards and watching game shows especially Jeopardy.
Survivors include her daughters Cornelia R. Sucky of Verona, Linda L. Nolker of Verona and Vanessa A. (Ernie) Fischer of Frazer Township. Grandchildren Claudia (Rob) Skidmore of Medina, OH, James (Stacey) Sucky of Roseville, OH and Aimee (James) Tonn of Verona and her great-grandchildren Zac, Zoey, Mary and Esmee.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Veltri, her step-father Joseph Lysek, her brothers Chester, Anthony and Walter Schultz and sisters Rose Schultz, Helen Schultz, Jenny Wall, Dee Cerra and Mary West.
At Blanche’s request all viewing, services and burial will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp.
