Carol Ann Grinner, 70 of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Thursday July 30, 2020 at UPMC St. Margaret’s with her sons by her side. She was born August 9, 1949 in Pittsburgh to the late Charles E. and Leone (Seaman) Grinner. Carol has lived in West Deer for the past 19 years. Carol graduated from Domenec High School, Pittsburgh, in 1967, then graduated from Devine Providence Nursing Program in 1969. She was a Registered Nurse working at the former Devine Providence Hospital, Pittsburgh and at John Kane Regional Center. Carol worked as a nurse for over 18 years. She enjoyed playing card games, watching horror movies, watching western shows, medical investigative shows as well as watching NASCAR racing with her sons, and was a big Pittsburgh Penguin Hockey fan.
Survivors include her sons Michael P. Jackson of Indiana County, Anthony C. Jackson and Ralph E. Jackson, III with whom she lived and her grandchildren Madeline and Lorenzo Jackson.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother William Grinner.
Due to the Covid-19 virus restrictions of no more than 25 people, a private viewing and service will be held in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, with the Rev.
