Christina "Tina" M. Tegge

Christina M. “Tina” (Ambrosi) Tegge, 88 of West Deer Township, died Saturday March 25, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She was born July 10, 1934 in Pittsburgh to the late Angelo and Mary (Profico) Ambrosi. Tina has lived in West Deer most of her life. Her working days began early in life, going to work to help care for her family. She has worked at various jobs over the years, though she retired from a 24-year career working for Mine Safety Appliance. She was a member of Sts. Martha & Mary Parish, Hampton. She volunteered at St. Catherine of Sweden Church and assisted her late husband Ernie with his Knights of Columbus activities. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, puzzles, traveling, the family Sunday dinners, playing softball, gardening, planning and being involved with her family reunions, though especially loved caring for her family.

Survivors include her children Kathy M. (George M.) Tymas, Jr. of West Deer; Ernest J. (Karen) Tegge, III of Deltona, Fla; Robert Randolph Tegge of New Castle and Laurie A. (Scott) Scholl of West Deer; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and her brother Samuel J. Ambrosi of Winter Haven, FL.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest J. Tegge, Jr., who died 2-16-2020, her brothers, Angelo, Jr., Nick, Richard and James Ambrosi and her sisters Lucy R. Grimm and Marion Marmo.

Friends will be received Sunday April 2nd from to 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where parting prayers will be conducted Monday at 9:30 am with a Catholic Funeral Mass following in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Transfiguration Church.
