Constance “Connie” M. (Gessner) Stewart, 82 of West Mifflin, formerly of the Springdale/Cheswick area, died Monday September 18, 2023 at her home. She was born October 5, 1940 in Pittsburgh to the late Paul and Elizabeth (Paul) Gessner. Connie grew up in Shadyside area of Pittsburgh and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1958. She was a homemaker and was of Catholic Faith. She enjoyed cooking and baking.

She is survived by her children Howard G. Stewart, IV of Arnold, Greg J. (Lisa) Stewart of Millvale and Elizabeth E. Hudepohl with whom she lived, grandchildren Courtney Hudepohl, Zak Hudepohl, Abby Stewart and Amber Antonelli, siblings Frederick “Skip” Gessner, Paul “Buzz” Gessner and Kurt Gessner all of Kentucky and her sister Betty.

At Connie’s request, a private family graveside service was held, where she was laid to rest near her family.
