Crystal D. (Crawford) Zalus

Crystal D. (Crawford) Zalus, 68 of Curtisville, West Deer Township, died Wednesday October 23, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh with her loving family by her side. She was born July 6, 1956 in Natrona Heights to the late Jerry J. and Grace E. (Gamble) Crawford. Crystal grew up in Tarentum graduating from Highland High School in 1974. She worked at the Giant Eagle, Richland in customer service, though was homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed casino trips, bingo, traveling to the beach and the camp, flea markets, yard sales, was an avid reader though especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren most of all.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years Robert J. Zalus, Jr. her children Misty M. (Ronald) Cervice Brake of Creighton and April L. Cervice of Butler, grandchildren Madison and Bryce, siblings Patricia (Terry) Kinnear of Blawnox, Larry Crawford of Lower Burrell, Mark (Brenda) Crawford of Mountville and Kimberly Crawford Hording of Vandergrift.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Terry, Gerald J. Jr. and Richard Crawford.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the SIWICKI-YANNICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp., where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday 10:00am with the Rev. Jerry Pawlowski, officiating.  She will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Twp.
