Daniel W. Pierce

Daniel W. Pierce, 65 of Brackenridge, formerly of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Saturday August 19, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital – Alle Kiski, with his family by his side. He was born November 13, 1957 in New Kensington. Dan grew up in Russellton, attending Transfiguration Elementary School and graduating from Deer Lakes High School in 1975. Dan worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed his watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, his friends and family.

Survivors include his sons, Joseph, Eric and Jonathan “J.D.” Pierce of TX, his father Daniel L. Pierce of Homer City, his siblings Thomas Pierce of Gloucester, VA, Donald (Linda) Pierce of Frazer Township, Pamela M. Roberts of Apollo and Anthony (Beth Caldwell) Pierce of Russellton.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Joan M. (Biagi) Pierce and his brothers Paul, Matthew and Phillip Pierce.

The family invites all to a celebration of Dan’s life on Thursday 3 pm at the Pollock Lodge, 307 Lock Street, Tarentum, PA 15084.  He will be privately laid to rest with his Mom in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
