Darlene Marie (Meinert) Racioppo

Darlene M. (Meinert) Racioppo, 75 of Brackenridge, formerly of Dorseyville, Indiana Twp., died Monday June 16, 2025 at Quality Life Services Apollo.  She was born September 24, 1949 in Pittsburgh to the late Martin G. and Margaret L. (Lutz) Meinert. Darlene was a 1967 graduate of Fox Chapel High School and had lived in Indiana Township & Dorseyville for most of her life before moving to Brackenridge 18 years ago.  She worked for J.C. Penny in their Call Center for over 15 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking and loved spending time spoiling her grandchildren.

Survivors include her Paul M. Racioppo of Apollo and grandchildren Emily, James & Giana, her sisters Deborah (John) Morris of Springdale, Nancy Meinert of Natrona Heights and Ginny (Mark) Riggs of Russellton.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Ricioppo, April 9, 2010 and her daughter Rebecca M. “Becky” Callender-Schrader on June 17, 2022.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp., where a funeral service will be conducted Thursday 7:30 pm, with the Rev. James C. Ramsey, officiating.  She will be privately buried with her husband in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the West Deer Dog Shelter, 109 East Union Road, Cheswick, PA 15024.
