Dominic Anthony Marchionno

Dominic Anthony Marchionno, age 75, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Dominic was born July 27, 1949 in Pittsburgh to the late George and Angela (Merendino) Marchionno. Dominic enjoyed a dedicated 30-year career with the Internal Revenue Service, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. Above all else, his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved grandson, Luca, who was the light of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Melanie T. (Vergot) Marchionno; his son, Anthony Marchionno, and daughter-in-law, Laura Serena; his cherished grandson, Luca Marchionno; and his brother, Cono Marchionno.

Keeping with Dominic’s wishes, all services and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township.
