Donald P. Lamperski

Donald P. Lamperski, 93 of West Deer Township, died Monday September 1, 2025 at UPMC St. Margaret. Don was born February 28, 1932 in Pittsburgh to the late Anthony and Regina E. (McKibben) Lamperski. He has lived in West Deer for the past 83 years. Don graduated from West Deer High School in 1951. He was a warehouseman, dealing with shipping and receiving for United Technologies – Bacharach in Pittsburgh for over 27 years. Don was member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer. He enjoyed gardening and caring for his family.

Survivors include his children Donna K. (Willow) Hayward of Castleton, VT, Douglas P. (Terry) Lamperski of Cheswick, Andrew T. (Adrian) Lamperski with whom he has lived the past few years and Margaret “Maggie” M. Lamperski of Uniontown; grandchildren Alex, Zachary and Caleb Lamperski, Ben (Oliver Allen) Hayward and Samantha Hayward.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret “Margie” K. (McDermott) Lamperski 5-31-2008 and his siblings Anthony J. Lamperski and Jean Filek

Friends received Thursday from 2pm to 8pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where a blessing service will be held Friday at 10am with the Rev. James P. Holland, officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Twp. In lieu of flowers contribution may be sent to the Watson Institute, 301 Camp Meeting Rd.
