Dorothy A. (Bohorch) Rainski, 98 of Curtisville, West Deer Township, died Wednesday August 31, 2022 at the Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler. She was born June 17, 1924 in the Superior Section of West Deer to the late Louis and Mary (Napierkowski) Bohorch. Dorothy grew up in West Deer and graduated from Etna High School in 1947. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer, the Rosary Society and Ladies of Charity both of the Church, she also was a member of ANCA, West Deer. Dorothy enjoyed reading, was an avid scrabble player and loved spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her daughter Regina A. Swentkowski of Purvis, Miss, her grandsons Ryan and Sean Swentkowski and a great-grand son.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Rainski on December 16, 2016, her brothers Louis, Joseph and Theodore Boharch and her sisters, infant sister Helen Bohorch, Helen Bibri, Mabel Basiorka, Amelia Walkiewicz and Jean Zolbuerzak.
At Dorothy’s request a private graveside service was held in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer, where she was buried next to her husband.
