Douglas Biehl Obituary

Douglas C. Biehl, 58, of Indiana Township, died on Friday, June 5, 2020, at the Select Specialty Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA.  He was born April 26, 1962 in Pittsburgh, to Charles E. Biehl and the late Jean (Bevilacqua) Biehl.  Doug grew up in Indiana Township where he has lived most of his life.  He was a 1980 graduate of Fox Chapel High School.  Growing up, Doug was active in the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.  He was a member of the Bethel Lodge # 789, F&AM in Lower Burrell and was a 32-degree Mason and member of the Syria Shrines, Harmar, where he participated in the Motor Corps with his Motorcycle and side car.  Doug was a mechanic for the Port Authority of Allegheny County for many years.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Besides his Father, Charles E. Biehl, with whom he lived, he is survived by his brother Dwayne E. (Julie) Biehl of Bow, NH; his nephew Duke Biehl and his niece Brooke Biehl, both of Bow, NH.

Doug was preceded in death by his Mother, Jean (Bevilacqua) Biehl.

At Doug’s request, all services and burial are private.  He will be buried in Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Verona, PA, near his Mother.  Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township.  View obituary and leave condolences at www.siwicki-yanickofh.com.
