Edward Donald “Fuzzy”, 78, of Russellton, West Deer Township, died Tuesday January 4, 2022, at Cranberry Place Cranberry Township after an illness. He was born December 12, 1943 in West Deer Township to the late Joseph & Catherine Rutkowski Zrelak and was a lifelong resident. A veteran of Viet Nam serving in the Army. He was involved in transportation for the Bessemer Lake Erie Railroad. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish Transfiguration Church, the Moose and American Legion. Fuzzy enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, going to his McKean County camp. He was a big fan of Eat N Park.
Survivors include his sister; Joanne McKruit of Cabot, his 2 nephews Carl (Kathy) McKruit of Butler, David McKruit of Sarver and niece Theresa (Jim Jones) McKruit of Butler, his five great nephews; Josh (Crystal), Matt (Leanne), Brandon (Libby), Chris McKruit, and Aidan Jones; six great-great nephews and nieces. Also, Ruth and George Preeisser good neighbors/friends who drank apple cider vinegar and ginger ale on the front porch; Good friends, Margie, Denny and Natalie.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Zrelak and brother-in-law Bernard McKruit
The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. where a blessing service will be held at 8 pm. by the Rev. James Holland officiating. A West Deer American Legion service will be held at 6:30 pm. Private burial will be in Transfiguration Cemetery West Deer Twp.
