Frank "Sonny" W. Hines

Frank W. “Sonny” Hines, 84 of Clinton Township, died Thursday August 17, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born September 28, 1938 in Glenshaw to the late Frank T. and Mary E. (Winshell) Hines. Frank grew up in Etna graduating from Conley Trade School in 1956. He served his country during the Korean War in the US Army. Frank has lived in Clinton Township for the past 48 years. He was a former member of All Saints Catholic Church, Etna. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing and junking.

Survivors include his sister Margaret (Hines) Weston of Leechburg, nieces and nephews Linda (John) Poney of Ford City, Frank (Sue) Weston of Leechburg, Lewis (Jamie) Weston of Leechburg and Margaret (Donald) Snyder of Saxonburg.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Frank T. Hines 11-2-2005 and his sister Mary Ann Tormey.

Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where a blessing service will be held Monday at 10 am.
