Gail Potensky, 79, of Russellton West Deer Twp., died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Platinum Ridge Brackenridge. She was born February 9, 1942 in Arnold, PA to the late Henry and Francis (Hanna) Albert. Gail worked for Burrell Construction in the accounting department and for Medrad, Inc. on the assembly line. She also started and cooked for the lunch program at the former Transfiguration School and was a life-long member of Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church. Gail was extremely outgoing and was jokingly considered the mayor of downtown Russellton.
Survivors include her three sons: Mark (Melinda) Potensky of Seattle, WA, Jeffrey (Sherry) Potensky of Kona, HI, and Chad Potensky of Freeport,\; six grandchildren: Levi, Erica, Vincent, Nicholas, Troy, and Jake; and four great grandchildren: Kenlee, Odin, Vera, and Levi Jeffrey (LJ); and a sister Jeanne Albert of Arnold. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Junior Albert, and her husband, Stanley Potensky, of 53 years.
There will be no public visitations, all services will be private. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Lakewood Memorial Gardens Indiana Twp.
