Gary A. Yockey, 75 of Russellton, West Deer, formerly of Tarentum and Harwick, died Tuesday September 9, 2025 at his home. He was born May 30, 1950 in Kittanning to the late George L. and Bonnie Lou (Cousins) Yockey. Gary grew up in Kittanning working from a young age at the local golf course and then as a laborer for the construction industry. He enjoyed fishing, building puzzles, sitting on the porch watching the world go by, though loved his family most of all.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years Francine E. (Shirley) Wallace, his children Gary A. Yockey, Jr. of Greensburg, Tammy (Rel) Orzehowski of Latrobe, Candy Yockey of Latrobe, Tarvis J. Yockey of Natrona Heights and Margaret (Eric) Campbell of Natrona Heights, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings George Yockey of Kittanning, Sandra May of Leechburg, Kathy (William) Aites of Apollo and Cheryl Beatty of Vandergrift.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Kitty Yockey, Carolyn Yockey and Donna Musick.
At Gary’s request all viewing, services and burial will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to the the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
