Gladys M. (Maddox) Cendrowski, 77 of Tarentum, died Friday January 1, 2021, at her home. She was born June 23, 1943 in Tarentum, to the late Morgan T. and Jessie M. (Faust) Maddox, Sr.. Gladys was a 1961 graduate of Har-Brack High School. Gladys worked for over 20 years at Harmar Rehab., in food service. She was a member of the Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, West Deer. Gladys enjoyed quilting baby blankets, reading, baking and working the voting polls.
Survivors include her husband of 6 ½ years William T. Cendrowski, her sons David L. (Erin) Auvil of Springdale Township and Norman (Diane) Auvil of Pittsburgh; 9 grandchildren; a great-grandson and her sister Kathrine Crow of Spirit Lake, IA.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Norman Auvil, her daughter Jessica Elizabeth Auvil, her brothers Morgan T., Walter and Charles G. Maddox and her sister Sandra Gablick.
Friends received Monday 11am to 1 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. where services will be conducted Monday at 1 pm with the Rev. Richard Wise, officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her daughter in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township. We will be following CDC Guidelines and do ask that you wear a mask, social distance and make your visit brief.
