Harvey W. Caffardo

Harvey W. Caffardo, 66 of Ross Township, formerly of West Deer and Shaler Townships, died Saturday April 15, 2023 at UPMC Passavant, McCandless. Harvey was born February 26, 1957 in Pittsburgh to the late Joseph N. Carffardo and Dorothy J. (France) Yusko of Ross Township. Harvey enlisted in the US Marine Corps to serve his country in 1976 achieving the rank of Private First Class. He worked for several companies including PA Department of Transportation as a road worker and then worked for his family as an overnight security guard and maintenance worker for the former Benke Motors, West Deer. He enjoyed hunting though loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son Joseph L. (Kaylyn) Caffardo of West Deer, grandchildren Joseph L. Caffardo, Jr., Lydia Caffardo and Aubrey Covert, his mom Dorothy J. (France) Yusko of Ross Township, siblings Ralph (Rita) Jackson of West Deer, Donna (John) Orsini of Orange City, Florida, Mark Malone of Ross Township and Ronald (Michelle) Yusko of Hampton Township.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. Services and burial will be private.
