Irene K. Myers

Irene K. (Trocki) Myers, 97 of Indianola, Indiana Township, died Monday September 26, 2022 at Family Hospice & Palliative Care, Pittsburgh. She was born April 15, 1925 in Morgantown WVa to the late Frederick W. and Julia S. (Mihalko) Trocki. Irene grew up and has lived in Indianola most of her life. During WWII, she worked as a welder. She was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Timothy – St. Frances of Assisi Church, Harmar, where she was a member of the Women’s Guild. Irene was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards and going to bingo. She lived a long & happy life her way, and would like you to remember her in the happy times.

Survivors include her son Gary (Michelle) Myers of Chandler, AZ, her daughter Cheryl Stecz Wright of Mercer, grandchildren Kristen Myers, Jesse Stecz, Patric, Zac, Anna, Susan and Molly Myers, her brother Sam Trocki of West Deer, her sisters Janice “Butch” Roberts of Phoenix, AZ and Patricia “Patsy” Trocki of Russellton.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Myers in 1981, her son Shawn Myers Dec. 30, 2021, her brothers Joseph, George and Peter “Michael” Trocki and her sister Margaret M. “Marge” Yelachan

At Irene’s request a private graveside service will be held in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township, where she will be buried next to her husband.
