Isaac “Ike” Isom Kitchen III, 62, passed away on May 8, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on June 7, 1963, he grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, before eventually settling in Sarver, Pennsylvania, where he built a life rooted in family and the outdoors.
Ike proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Combat Engineers from 1983 to 1992, and served during Operation Desert Storm. This was a period of service that shaped who he was as a person. After completing his military career, Ike held a variety of jobs with his last position as a truck driver at Central Transport.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Florentine) Kitchen; his children, Isaac Kitchen IV, Elizabeth Kitchen of Sarver, PA, Ashley Kitchen Hadel (Steve) of Florida, and Steven Kitchen (Brittany) of Maryland; his sisters, Donna Hiltner, Deborah Hood, and Ella Edge; his grandchildren Sophia, Savannah, Sadie, Hannah, and Hailey.
Ike was happiest outdoors. Whether at camp, fishing along quiet waters, or hunting in the woods, he found joy in nature. Those who knew him will remember his sarcastic humor, his quest for a buck each hunting season, and his burly presence.
At Ike’s request all viewing, services and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp. In lieu of flowers, Friends may remember Ike by making a memorial donation to Buffalo Township EMS, 663 Ekastown Road, Sarver, PA 16055.
