James L. Monos

James L. Monos, 87 of Bairdford, West Deer Township, died Monday December 11, 2023 at his home. He was born July 13, 1936 in New Kensington to the late James C. and Ellen (Victain) Monos. Jim grew up and has lived in West Deer all of his life. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, West Deer and the church Young and Restless group. Jim worked over 26 years as a heavy equipment mechanic for State Equipment, Monroeville. He enjoyed playing golf, golfing at Rose Ridge with the Friday Golf League.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years Nancy L. (Alexia) Monos, his sons James M. (Lilly Zorich) Monos of Bairdford and Mark S. Monos of Middlesex, Shirley (Alexia) Holifield Sister-in-law and several nephews.

Besides his parents he was precede in death by his sister Regina Gamble.

At Jim’s request all viewing and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township.
