James Leroy “Lee” Norris, Sr., 89, of Culmerville, West Deer Township, died Wednesday July 26, 2023 at Rosebrook Assisted Living, Sarver. He was born June 22, 1934 in Culmerville to the late Robert N. and Grace E. (Catherwood) Norris. Lee was a 1952 graduate of West Deer High School. Lee worked for his father and then became the owner of Norris Feed, Culmerville, West Deer, worked as a bus driver for the West Deer School District for over 15 years, was a plumber at the former Gulf Research in Harmar for over 25 years, and owned Norris Plumbing Co. He enjoyed golf, gardening, listening to music and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his sons James L. (Lisa) Norris, Jr. of Fawn Township and Robert (Andrea) Norris of West Deer, grandchildren Sarah (Kevin) Isovitsch, Abraham (Carina) Norris, Zachary Norris and Cassidy (Benjamin) Barch, great-grandchildren Aidon, Casie, Tyler and Benjamin.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Janet E. (Jones) Norris, 10-9-2015, his son Norman D. Norris, his brother Kenneth Norris and his sisters Elva Marie Fedor and Faye Norris.
