Joann M. (Bliley) Taylor, 83 of Lake Pleasant, Greene Township, died May 16, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She was born July 13, 1939 in Union City, to the late Wilton Daniel and Virginia (Lorei) Bliley. Joann grew up in Greene Township, graduating from Wattsburg High School in 1957. She was a member of St. Boniface R. C. Church, Greene Township. Joann and her late husband Donald A. Taylor ran the family dairy farm for over 35 years. Joann was always the first place winner in Rev. Pyle's Pie Baking Contest. Joann loved to read, cook, bake, build puzzles, tend to her garden, run her vegetable stand, though mostly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children Douglas P. (Cheryl) Taylor of Union City, Gail (William) Yanicko of Russellton, Daniel (Cindy) Taylor Santa Maria, Calif and Molly (Lane) Jones of Milanville, grandchildren Zane and Aaron Taylor, William, Kimberly and Teresa Yanicko, Dustin, Malac (Hannah), Clay and Cameron Taylor, Jacob, Joshua and Amelia Piepho, Caleb, Nehemiah, Josiah (Charity) and Charity Jones; her great-granddaughter Adalynn Taylor Yanicko and her great-grandson Holden Gray Taylor, and her brother Jerry (Kelly) Bliley of Spanish Ontario, Canada.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Taylor on 11 – 7 – 2020, her daughter Yvonne M. Piepho on 10 – 24 – 2008 and her sister Joy Annette Bliley 8 – 7 – 2005.
Friends received Thursday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in the WARREN-GLENN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA 16438, where a blessing service will be conducted Friday 10 am with the Rev. Marc Stockton, officiating. Burial will follow in Phillipsville Union Cemetery, Venango Township. Arrangements were entrusted to her Son-in-Law William A.
