Joanne F. Perlik, age 91, of West Deer Township, passed on Saturday October 25, 2025. She was born April 10, 1934 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Gaus) George. Joanne was the beloved wife of the late William C. Perlik, who passed March 28, 2025. She was the loving mother of Linda Rodriguez, William C. (Sherry) Perlik, Jr., Judy (James) Davis, and Charles Perlik; sister of Mary Lou Tubridy, Nancy DeTrude, and the late Joseph George, Ronald “Wooz” George, and David “Butch” George; the dear grandmother of Joanne Rosario, Anthony Rodriguez, Lucas Perlik, Skylar Perlik, and Sierra Perlik. and her two great-grandchildren, Brian Hegerty and Adrianna Hegerty.
Joanne was a 1952 graduate of West View High School and was a stay at home mom caring for her family for many years, later on worked as a cashier at Krogers Grocery and Giant Eagle. She had a great sense of humor, was quite the character, and most of all loved being with her beloved children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-6 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:30am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Middle Road, Glenshaw with the Rev. John Forbidussi, officiating. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
