John P. Grill

John P. Grill, 75 of West Deer Township, died Sunday April 23, 2023 at the home of a friend who had been caring for him. John was born June 14, 1947 in New Kensington to the late Tony S. and Grace P. (Bongiovanni) Grill. He grew up on the family farm, where he worked all of his life. John was a dedicated son, caring for his parents as they grew older. He was a 1965 graduate of West Deer High School. He enjoyed farming, caring for the livestock and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by a sister-in-law Elaine Grill of Millville, NJ nephew Joseph A. Grill, Jr. of Saxonburg and a niece Charity (Pat) Kelly of Millville, NJ, great-nieces Grace, Lily and Sara Kelly, great-nephews Travis Grill and Brenden Kelly, his adopted family Colleen (Mike) Miller, where he made his home and passed with them by his side, many cousins and friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Joseph A. Grill, Sr.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday 10 am.
