John Howard Obituary

John A. “Jack” Howard, 82 of Clinton Township, died Friday December 27, 2024 at his home. He was born February 10, 1942 to the late Francis P. and Calista K. (Cannon) Howard. Jack grew up in West Deer, though spent most of his life in Clinton Township. He was a welder for Pullman Standard, Butler for over 17 years. He was a member of the American Legion, West Deer, the Owls Club, Russellton and a life member of the Culmerville Sportsman Club, West Deer. Jack enjoyed going to the clubs he maintained his membership at, mowing his lawn and wintering in Florida.

Survivors include his daughter Dawn L. (Daniel) Myers of Harrisville, granddaughters Calista Myers of Harrisville, Emma Myers of Winnsboro, TX and Rebekah Myers of Marble Falls, TX.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sharon E. (Keller) Howard, December 24, 2023 and his brothers Michael “Mick”, Francis “Bud” and Peter.


At Jack’s request all viewing, services and burial were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer.
